The magical cycle of the Moon entranced me for two years. It began with Moon at Dusk and concluded over thirty paintings later with Morning Moon Rise, the final painting in this series. Each painting originated in an inspired, soul-stopping moment of connectionwith the moon, which I recaptured on paper the following day from the image implanted in my heart. Upon looking back, I discovered the series not only spanned two years but was created in a perfect sequence of the moon's cycle!
