Sun, Water & Earth Scape Gallery

After working in the ethereal realm of sacred color, it was very grounding to return to working on site, in pastels, sensing the spirit of a place and bringing that energy into the image.  I realized that my work with sacred color had changed my way of working.

The experience of the moment and the place came into my heart through the energy of the color and was later retrievable in the studio.  I was able to portray the momentary light of the sun, the water, the earth or a rainbow - all carried on the color rather than through a memory of form as seen first as shapes and lines of light and dark.
